Choose between an early morning or late afternoon tour to view humpback whales and other marine mammals. This tour is designed for photographers, videographers and other guests particularly interested in taking advantage of the beautiful lighting in Frederick Sound early and late in the day! We will share our years of experience to help you get aligned for that perfect shot and give you extra pointers on photographing Alaska’s magnificent wildlife. You’ll never feel rushed as we spend as much time as we need to capture the perfectly composed image.

The boat is equipped with a hydrophone so we can listen to the whales as well as watch!

We limit our tours to private groups of up to 6 guests for a personalized experience. All tours include tons of natural history information!

Our itinerary is flexible, and we will travel by powerboat to wherever the whales are feeding in Frederick Sound. In addition to humpback whales, we may see sea lions, seals, porpoises, orcas, and a variety of sea birds. We will customize the trip to capture those perfect shots you’ve been dreaming of!
