I’ve lived on or near the water since childhood and spent my early years sailing and diving from my family’s homeport on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. My love for cold, mountainous climates drew me to coastal Alaska, and as a young twenty-something I moved to Alaska to live “off-the-grid” in a rustic cabin. I spent several years designing and filming multimedia exhibits about marine science for the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, Alaska. I spent summers kayak guiding and deckhanding on tour boats. I also did a stint operating a television station in the Aleutian Islands before eventually landing in Africa and Asia working with wildlife nonprofits.
My love for marine life and Alaska drew me back in 2016 and I now live in Petersburg year round. In the summer months I’m on the water leading tours. In the winter months, my creative side emerges and I switch hats to produce, direct, shoot and edit wildlife documentary films.
